To cement Melbourne and Olympic Park as a world class destination for sporting and entertainment events, focussing on expansion and increased usability in order to cater to growing audiences at events such as the Australian Open. Melbourne Park is one of the four main pillars of the Major Events Strategy in Victoria, so its viability is a critical consideration in future planning.
CJ Arms have long-term, ongoing involvement with the redevelopment and master-planning of Melbourne and Olympic Park. Our hydraulic designs, informed by our scientific modelling, embrace the overall vision for the precinct and its growing capacity. Our comprehensive modelling is well-founded in our knowledge and understanding of peak hydraulic loads of water supply and sewer management, allowing us to deliver tailored solutions which ensure the sustainability of the precinct.
We have contributed specialist roof drainage systems to support the various arenas’ unique roof designs, and have made significant contributions to reducing water use by capturing and reusing millions of litres of stormwater runoff and turf drainage. The ongoing works are improving significant elements of the Melbourne and Olympic Parks precinct to make it one of the world’s best sports and entertainment facilities, and secure it as the site of the Australian Open for many years to come.
